I had really good experience with reting my bike from Funbike. Joao delivere the the bike in a great contition to the location we agreed on time. Communication was perfect to agree timings etc. The bike had the smoothest drivetrain I have seen for long time and I even got a free upgrade. It came with pump, spare tyre and all the tools you need to fix a puncture in a saddle bag. The service was brilliant and I would go back to them for bike again.

Wir haben zum zweiten Mal bei Funbike Gravelbikes gemietet und sind so happy, dass wir es auch nochmal tun würden. Had a great experience renting a current-model Pinarello X in top shape. João was very supportive and always respondend quickly, from booking to delivering. Home delivery is convenient and he's flexible with everything. Ride was flawless, the SRAM groupset wonderfully smooth and all went fine. Top quality service from Joao At funbike. Dropped bikes to our rental villa south of Lisbon and collected them at pre agreed time. Bikes were great, pinarellos with electronic gears, a year or two old in top condition. Helmets, pedals, and mounts for garmin provided. Pros: bike delivered and picked up at the hotel. The bike was in good condition and handled well even though it’s not a brand with which I’m familiar. Cons: I asked for a sram kitted bike but got Shimano instead.  Shimano doesn’t tell you the battery is running low. It simply stops working. When it does, you’re sunk and have to find somewhere to charge it. With sram, you swap out battery packs in less than 30 seconds. SRAM lets you see when the battery is at 20%. I brought spare sram batteries. As it is, Shimano failed midway through the race on a climb. I was in the same gear for the rest of the race.  I was told the system was fully charged when delivered. If so, then the system is defective. Shimano charges last for a good six months before needing a charge. I’m not convinced that it was fully charged. Was also told that there was a charger for the customer to charge the bike.  Can’t really charge a battery mid-race nor should a customer bear the responsibility of doing that job. If you rent for racing, you’ll have to take that job on to ensure you get the most out of the rental.
