GDPR – Security and Privacy

Our commitment

For Suntime Unipessoal Lda, the security and privacy of personal data and the protection of the “rights and freedoms” of individuals whose information Suntime Unipessoal Lda collects and processes is one of our main commitments and is in accordance with the General Regulation of Data Protection (GDPR) REG. (EU) 2016/679 of April 27, 2016.

The GDPR and this policy apply to all personal data processing functions of Suntime Unipessoal Lda, including those carried out on the personal data of customers, employees, suppliers and partners, and any other personal data that the organization processes from any source.

Information collection

Simply browsing the website is free and does not involve any registration. However, in order to place orders for products and services available on the website, the user must register in advance, and comply with all legal requirements for their use, namely being of legal age, and respecting the country's legislation.

When is the data collected and on what basis? – Suntime Unipessoal Lda only records personal data voluntarily provided by customers, following the user's request, for the purposes of purchasing or subscribing to the newsletter.

What data is collected? – Only the data necessary to process the customer’s request, and legally required: Registration – Email and consent; purchase data; billing data and customer profile.

Consent

How is it obtained? – Consent for promotional marketing purposes by Suntime Unipessoal Lda is obtained explicitly and expressly, when registering as a new customer, or subscribing to the online newsletter, from the entry into force of the GDPR.

How can it be cancelled? – Canceling consent can be done simply by “unsubscribing” in all electronic promotional communications, or by sending an email with this request to geral@funbike.pt

Rights of data subjects

Data subjects have, among others, the following rights in relation to the processing of data recorded about them:
– Avoid processing that could cause harm or distress
– Avoid direct marketing
– Take measures to correct, delete including the right to be forgotten

Data retention and deletion

Suntime Unipessoal Lda will not retain personal data that allows people to be identified for longer than is necessary in relation to the purpose for which the data was originally collected.
Data relating to billing and orders: 10 years due to legal obligation
Marketing: Automatically deleted when a maximum of 36 months of inactivity have been completed – no purchases are made.

Availability and security

The storage of this data is safe and credible, with all legal means and the latest security protocols having been used, and all technical and human means within our reach having been adopted to prevent its abusive use. However, you should be aware that the use of websites and transmission of information by electronic means may be subject to access by unauthorized third parties.
